securityManager 3.2

For the Management of Users and User Rights in Spatial Data Infrastructures

The sdi.suite securityManager organises access constraints with respect to services and data in service-based spatial data infrastructures. It restricts access to authorised users, and offers extensive functionality to implement a fine grained authorisation concept.

The securityManager is available as a completely integrable ADD-On for "ArcGIS for INSPIRE".

Direct access to the online administrative component of securityManager is not possible, however, you can get an impression of the management and application of securityManager through the demo movies and use examples below.

Scenario: Various spatial obligations on a single WMS Service: Login: NRW / NRW_conterra - Can view data for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia; Login: BB / BB_conterra - Can view data for the state of Brandenburg; Login: SHHH / SHHH_conterra - Can view data for the state Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg

2. Scenario: Attribute based protection in an ArGIS Server Service: Login: Acker / Acker_conterra - Can view all croplands; Login: Farmer / Farmer_conterra - Can view only croplands which were defined in the attribute based protection

3. Scenario: ArcGIS Server HTML-Catalog-View: Login: User / User_conterra - HTML-Catalog-View on secured MapServer Serivce

4. Scenario: Access via ArcGIS JavaScript API: Login: User / User_conterra - Access to secured ArcGIS Server MapServer Serivce via die ArcGIS JavaScript API

5. Scenario: Access via HTTP Basic Authentication: Add this URL to ArcMap:; URL: http://www.sdi-suite.de/wss/service/AGS_Demoportal/httpauth; Login: Acker / Acker_conterra - Can view all croplands
